Cat* is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght. At Queen’s Law, she was extensively involved in the school’s mooting program. When confronted with a problem, Cat is a natural§ innovator. Drawing from her background in genetics and her passion for the law, Cat solves complex legal problems by bringing a unique perspective to her approach. She comprehensively analyzes any problem with poise and precision to create an effective solution, establishing herself as a resolute advocate , in any situation. For example, while in law school, Cat helped ratify and bring back the Queen's Law Tortfeasors Rugby Club and acted as the club’s Co-Vice President. .

Catherine Blair (she/her)

is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght.

Cat completed her JD at Queen’s University. At Queen’s Law, Cat volunteered with the Conflict Analytics Lab, where she developed Artificial Intelligence-based legal technology to improve access to justice. Cat also volunteered with Queen’s Legal Aid to provide legal services to those in need. In 2024, she represented Queen’s Law at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and was selected to participate in the school’s Grand Moot.

Prior to attending law school, Cat completed her Bachelor’s degree in Genetics. During her undergraduate studies, Cat was a member of Western University’s Varsity Wrestling team and worked as a research assistant in a surgical laboratory that developed cutting-edge methods to improve patient outcomes following cardiac procedures.
