Petra graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts in Law with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Civil Law. She has also completed an LLM in Bar Vocational Studies, with specialism in International Commercial Trade & ADR, as a Lord Denning and Residential Scholar of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, before being Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2026.

As a law student, Petra was awarded the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights Student Fellowship, which facilitated an internship at the AIRE Centre, a legal charity specializing in European human rights law. She also acted as a Legal Consultant for Oxford Student Publications Limited, an independent student publishing house, where she advised on intellectual property, defamation, confidentiality and other legal issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Petra was the International Policy Assistant – Human Rights at the Law Society of England and Wales, where she advocated for lawyers globally who face reprisals for carrying out their work. She drafted a range of submissions to the UN human rights monitoring mechanisms, as well as responses to parliamentary inquiries and research reports, collaborating with a network of non-governmental organisations, international institutions, state agencies and bar associations. Petra was also a Policy Officer at the Department of Home Affairs in Australia, where she conducted in-depth legal and policy research for a major law reform project.
