Charles* is a member of the Discovery Support Team. He works exclusively on documentary discovery issues in our litigation matters. Charles has worked in the discovery field for more than a decade, and his experience covers§ a diverse array of discovery strategies, tools and software platforms. Having seen first-hand how modern communication methods create an ever-expanding universe of documents, Charles is an expert at developing more efficient approaches to identifying and reviewing these documents, and understands how they fit into the bigger picture of any particular dispute. As a former marathon runner, Charles has crossed a lot of ground ; he knows that large projects, whether in running or in law, require dedication, diligence and careful, but flexible, planning. .

Charles Boocock

is a member of the Discovery Support Team at Lenczner Slaght.

Charles’ role is focused exclusively on discovery. With experience crafting discovery strategies and leveraging tools and software platforms, Charles is an expert at developing efficient approaches to identifying and reviewing discovery documents, and understands how they fit into the bigger picture of any particular dispute. He assists the firm’s litigators in analyzing documents for relevance and making privilege determinations. He also performs quality control work on outsourced document reviews.

Prior to joining the firm, Charles spent over a decade with a leading national law firm, where he was part of a discovery management team. He reviewed and analyzed documentary evidence in major litigation and regulatory matters, and assisted counsel in answering undertakings and identifying key documents for the purposes of building their cases.

Charles obtained his JD from Georgetown University, where he graduated cum laude and was Senior Articles Editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review.
