Brieanna Miklaucic

is counsel at Lenczner Slaght.

Brieanna’s practice focuses on assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of matters, including medical negligence, privacy issues, proceedings before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and hospital privileges disputes, among other administrative and regulatory law issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Brieanna summered and articled at a full-service law firm in London, Ontario, gaining experience in a variety of litigation areas, including medical malpractice, class actions, and administrative.

Brieanna received her JD from Western University. While in law school, Brieanna volunteered as a case worker and then case manager for the Sport Solution Clinic and the Western Intellectual Property and Innovation Legal Clinic. She also worked as a research assistant on various projects, including space law and the intersection of family law and health law, with a focus on children’s capacity to consent. Upon graduation, Brieanna was awarded the Law Society of Ontario Prize.

Prior to attending law school, Brieanna completed an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University, specializing in biochemical, biomedical, and bioenvironmental engineering. She then worked at Greenfield Global, a global ethanol production company, contributing to both the engineering and research and development teams.
