Olivia Schenk (she/her)
is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght.
Olivia completed her JD at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. An avid mooter, Olivia competed in several advocacy competitions including the Stewart Cup Moot, the Legal Innovation and Technology Competition, the Sopinka Cup and, most notably, the Fanaki Competition Moot where her team placed first amongst ten other faculties.
Olivia was highly involved in her law school community. As a member of the Moot Court Committee, she coordinated and judged the school’s upper year competitive moot tryouts. As a staff writer for Ultra Vires, she wrote articles covering topics ranging from overviews of recent charter challenges to work-life balance while in law school. As an executive of the Construction Law Club, she organized events to give other students an opportunity to learn more about the exciting field of construction law. Mentorship is extremely important to Olivia. Throughout law school and beyond she has embraced opportunities to assist others navigating the law school experience.
Prior to studying law, Olivia studied Animal Biology at the University of Guelph. She worked a variety of biology jobs including as a crop scout, an agricultural laborer, and a lab technician.
