Andrew* is a summer student at Lenczner Slaght. He studies law at Western University, where he combines strong academic performance with multiple first-place finishes in advocacy competitions. He is shaped by client service experience and embraces§ uncertainty, thriving in unpredictable environments. A former English student at the University of Toronto, he brings a sharp command of language to every argument. He is a natural advocate who is drawn to difficult disputes that test his legal knowledge and sharpen his advocacy skills. .

Details

Andrew Scott (he/him)

is a summer student at Lenczner Slaght.

Andrew is completing his JD at the University of Western Ontario, where he frequently competes in advocacy competitions. He has placed first in the McKenzie Lake Tax Moot, the Lenczner Slaght Advocacy Competition in Legal Ethics and Professionalism, and the Uwagboe Mock Trial Competition. Most recently, his team was awarded Second Place Facta at the 2026 Wilson Moot.

Prior to law school, Andrew studied English at the University of Toronto, where he received the Margaret Penman Scholarship in his final year for outstanding academic performance.

He previously spent his summers working at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), where he supported employers in managing their WSIB accounts and navigating organizational policies.
