Lenczner Slaght Welcomes Five New Associates

Canada’s leading litigation firm continues to add to its collective experience and knowledge with the addition of five talented associates.

Lenczner Slaght is delighted to welcome Derek Knoke, Graham Henry, Jonathan D. Langley, Sean Lewis, and Zachary Rosen to the firm as our new associates.

Derek Knoke is developing a broad litigation practice with experience in securities litigation, class actions, commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring, employment, trusts, and estates. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and joins us after a year as judicial law clerk for judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Graham Henry’s developing practice covers a wide array of civil litigation matters. As an articling student at the firm, he gained valuable experience dealing with commercial disputes, professional negligence claims, and class action proceedings. He graduated from the University of Toronto and while in law school, he advocated for refugee claimants at Downtown Legal Services.

Jonathan D. Langley is developing a practice in a range of areas including commercial and professional liability. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he worked as a research assistant to multiple professors and as a Dean’s Fellow for the Constitutional and Public Law course.

Sean Lewis has experience working on complex commercial and professional liability matters, which he gained while articling for the firm last year. Sean graduated with distinction from Western Law where he engaged in a variety of advocacy-focused endeavours including as coach of Western Law’s 2017 Jessup Cup team.

Zachary Rosen’s growing experience involves a broad range of practice, including complex commercial litigation, intellectual property matters and a number of administrative proceedings. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa's National Program, and holds degrees in both civil law and common law. While in law school, he was selected for the University's Technology Law Internship program, working as a research assistant in the legal department of one of Canada's largest e-commerce companies.

“We are very excited that Zachary, Graham, Sean, Jonathan and Derek have joined us. They add to the strength of the firm and represent an important part of our team,” says Managing Partner, Tom Curry. “I am looking forward to watching them develop into future leaders of the Bar.”
