Lenczner Slaght Welcomes Caroline Humphrey

Canada’s leading litigation firm adds another exceptional lawyer to its talent pool.

Caroline Humphrey is an experienced courtroom advocate. Her practice encompasses a broad range of areas, including class actions, competition law, contract disputes, and professional negligence. She has a keen ability to cut through the complex and deliver practical and effective solutions to her clients.

Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Caroline practiced at a national firm where she gained experience litigating complex commercial disputes, urgent proceedings for injunctive relief, Anton Piller orders, Norwich orders, and injunctions relating to the protection of copyright. She also prosecuted and defended claims of professional negligence. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada, representing her clients in both English and French.

Caroline received her JD from the Faculté de droit of the Université de Moncton, where she was the recipient of scholarships from the Department of Canadian Heritage for academic achievement. In law school, Caroline participated in the National Trial Advocacy Competition (Sopinka Cup) and was awarded Best Overall Advocate. She also participated in the Gale Cup Moot in 2016 and the Faculté de droit’s competitive moot in 2015.
