On February 27, 2007, The Mr. Honourable Justice Romain Pitt granted an Application brought by Tom Curry and Dena Varah of Lenczner Slaght to restore the Legal Assistance Plan Board of the Toronto Police Association. The LAP Board had purportedly been dissolved by a resolution of the TPA Board by a resolution passed January 25, 2007. The Court agreed that the resolution was made by the TPA Board without authority and set aside all decisions of the TPA Board flowing from it.
