Lenczner Slaght Recognized Internationally in IP Litigation

Canada’s leading litigation firm and two of its IP partners, Sana Halwani and Andrew Skodyn, are ranked in the 2017 edition of IAM Patent 1000.

(TORONTO)

Lenczner Slaght is proud to be ranked silver in the sixth edition of the IAM Patent 1000 directory that recognizes firms and individuals who are deemed outstanding in patent litigation.

The directory noted that the lawyers at the firm “apply their well-rounded contentious skill sets to the most testing patent enforcement mandates in Canada and beyond; they have a particular flair for defending the rights of innovative pharmaceuticals companies and have also been involved in ground-breaking decisions in biologic drug disputes.”

In addition, two of the firm’s outstanding leading litigators have been recognized: Sana Halwani (Bronze) and Andrew Skodyn (Silver). While Andrew has been deemed one of “the firm’s star patent attractions”, Sana has been described as a “wonderful attorney and great adversary” who gets “right to the nub of the matter”.
