ALAN LENCZNER is one of Canada’s leading litigators. His skills as an advocate have produced precedent setting decisions in most every field of civil litigation. With his extraordinary experience in large and complex litigation matters, he appears regularly before courts and tribunals across the country. He has also appeared as counsel before both the High Court and the Court of Appeal of England.
Alan has a B.A. (Hon.) and an M.A. He graduated from the University of Toronto with an LL.B. (Hons. Standing) in 1967 and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1969. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1982.
A frequent lecturer on subjects ranging from fiduciary duties to constitutional law, Alan is familiar to many of Canada’s future lawyers. He has taught trial advocacy at the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall law schools and instructs at an annual one-week trial advocacy program for the Quebec Bar.
