ANDREW PARLEY is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.

Andrew has developed a varied practice while at Lenczner Slaght including involvement in a variety of commercial and professional liability matters.

He holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a J.D. from the University of Toronto.   While at law school, Andrew was a member of the first place Corporate Securities Moot team.  He summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008.

Andrew is a member of the Advocates’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association.

Pouget v. Hynes (2009) (Div. Ct.) - unreported - counsel for the moving party in motion to a panel of the Divisional Court to set aside an order dismissing a motion for leave to appeal.
 
Tanglewood (Sierra Homes) Inc. v. Munro Golf Limited, [2009] O.J. No. 1750 - motion for interlocutory injunction to shut down the respondent's business.  Was successful in defeating the motion on behalf of the respondent.

Demers v. Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation et al (2009) (S.C.J.) – unreported – successful motion to strike a reply.

Caljet Performance Inc. v. Baron, [2009] O.J. No. 869 (S.C.J.) – motion for a preservation order.  Was successful in defeating a motion on behalf of respondent.

Rassouli-Rashti (Re), [2009] O.C.P.S.D. No. 4 (Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons) – penalty hearing.  Was successful in resisting revocation of physician’s licence to practice.

Jackson v. Toronto Police Association, [2008] O.J. No. 5309 (S.C.J.) – appeal of Master’s order permitting examination of a witness on a pending motion.

Caljet Performance Inc v. Baron (2008) (S.C.J.) – unreported – counsel for a respondent in a motion to continue a Mareva injunction.  Was successful in vacating the interlocutory order.
